WFMW - quick breakfast
I am so glad I started blogging - otherwise I never would have come across this quick breakfast that is awesome!
Barb over at A Chelsea Morning posted this breakfast burrito recipe and it is great. You make these up (and it makes 20+ burritos) and freeze them. Thaw in refrigerator overnight and just pop in the oven the next morning to heat up. And you are ready to walk out the door with breakfast in hand. The kids can even eat while riding to school if you are running late or eat at the bus stop.
I thawed 2 out for my husband and he ended up only eating one since it was so filling. And he is a big eater. These use the big size tortilla's, but I think next time I make some I'll use the smaller size and make some up for the little kids since they wouldn't eat a whole one of the big size.
I'm definitely making more of these. Thanks to Barb for the recipe and ya'll enjoy!

thanks, i'll have to try this!
I think I'm going to make a big batch of these when I buy groceries again next week.
Gee thanks, now I'm hungry! ;D
Love and hugs,
Diane
Thanks for the link! Her recipes sound yummy--and that stack of burritos! Inspiring!
Sounds yummy! We can always use a good breakfast idea! Thanks!
I love Barb's recipes! I have yet to make these burritos, but I will soon. :)
Take my advice and never ever make seventy of them at once, April. LOL
It seemed like a great idea at the time but boy, they took up half my freezer space!
I'm glad you like them. They're great to have on hand when you don't have time to cook and somehow, they seem more like "breakfast" than a quick bowl of cereal which is what I usually fed my girls before school.
They've become a staple in our house. I can't run out of them or my husband gets antsy. :-)
Great idea. I have to try it. Maybe make them not as big.
Thanks!
I have thought of making these and now that the summer season at the camp is winding down I think I will do just that. With two boys now, instead of just my Joey and of course my dear hubby -- basically three big men to feed, this is a great idea!
